Where did you grow up?
Laura- I was born in Edmonton and have almost always lived here except for 3 years when my family moved to Red Deer. My years spent in Red Deer are some of my favorite childhood years.
What is your favorite childhood memory?
Laura- My grandparents live in Ontario so seeing them is always a rare and cherished occasion. I remember on one of our visits when I was around 4 years old my Gram took me out for lunch and let me eat my dessert first. I felt like an extremely lucky little girl! To this day both her and I share that special memory between us.
What is your favorite part of working at 3 Leaf?
Laura- Definitely the team I get to work with! These ladies are amazing therapists and incredible human beings.
What is your favorite quote?
Laura- “Forget safety. Live where you fear to live. Destroy your reputation. Be notorious.” -Rumi
I love this particular quote because it reminds me to go where the fear is and to live life to the fullest!
What inspires you?
Laura- I am continually inspired by those that make following their passions a priority in their lives.
What is your favorite sports team?
Laura- Since I’ve never really been into sports I will give you my favorite dancer instead.
Suhaila Salimpour! Look her up!
What do you do when you are not at work?
Laura- I am currently in my last year studying to be an RMT at Grant Macewan University so most of my life is spent either in the classroom or studying. If I’m not doing that then you can find doing me teaching a bellydance class, working on my own bellydance training, or performing.
